Uses of Ceftriaxone :-

  • Meningitis
  • Community-acquired pneumonia
  • Gonorrhea
  • Intra-abdominal and urinary tract infections

Common Side Effects :-

  • Injection site pain
  • Diarrhea
  • Rash
  • Elevated liver enzymes

Precautions & Warnings :-

  • Avoid mixing with calcium-containing solutions in neonates.
  • Monitor liver and kidney function during prolonged use.
  • Use cautiously in patients with gallbladder issues.
