What is Cephalexin?

Cephalexin is a first-generation cephalosporin antibiotic effective against a variety of gram-positive bacteria. It inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, making it a common choice for treating uncomplicated skin infections, respiratory tract infections, and urinary tract infections. It is well-absorbed orally and considered safe for children and adults.
