What is Pantoprazole Sodium?

Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor used to decrease stomach acid and treat acid-related disorders. It is effective in healing esophagitis and preventing ulcers. It offers a more targeted action with lower interaction potential compared to some other PPIs.

Uses of Pantoprazole Sodium :-

GERD
Erosive esophagitis
Ulcers

Common Side Effects :-

Nausea
Flatulence
Headache

Precautions & Warnings :-

Monitor for hypomagnesemia in long-term use.
May reduce absorption of B12.
Do not chew or crush delayed-release tablets.
