Paracetamol

What is Paracetamol?

Paracetamol (also known as acetaminophen) is a widely used analgesic and antipyretic that helps relieve mild to moderate pain and reduce fever. Unlike NSAIDs, it does not possess strong anti-inflammatory properties and has minimal gastrointestinal side effects, making it a safer option for children, elderly individuals, and patients with stomach issues. It works by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis in the brain.
