What is Pregabalin?

Pregabalin is an antiepileptic and nerve pain medication used to treat neuropathic pain, fibromyalgia, and certain types of seizures. It works by binding to calcium channels in the central nervous system, reducing the release of neurotransmitters that signal pain and seizures. Pregabalin is particularly effective in managing chronic nerve-related conditions and also helps improve sleep and anxiety symptoms in some patients.

Common Side Effects :-

  • Dizziness
  • Drowsiness
  • Blurred vision
  • Weight gain

Precautions & Warnings :-

  • May cause dependency with long-term use.
  • Caution in patients with kidney problems.
  • Avoid alcohol while on this medication.
