What is Tadalafil?

Tadalafil is another PDE5 inhibitor used to treat erectile dysfunction, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), and pulmonary arterial hypertension. Known for its longer duration of action (up to 36 hours), it enhances blood flow to specific areas by relaxing smooth muscles. It can be used daily or on an as-needed basis, depending on the condition being treated.

Uses of Tadalafil :-

  • Erectile dysfunction
  • Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH)
  • Pulmonary arterial hypertension

Common Side Effects :-

  • Muscle aches
  • Indigestion
  • Back pain

Precautions & Warnings :-

  • Avoid concurrent use with nitrates or alpha-blockers.
  • Not recommended in patients with severe liver or kidney disease.
  • May cause a drop in blood pressure; monitor accordingly.
