What is Telmisartan?

Telmisartan is a long-acting ARB that blocks angiotensin II from binding to its receptors, thereby relaxing blood vessels and reducing blood pressure. It is also shown to offer additional benefits in metabolic syndrome and diabetic patients due to its partial PPAR-gamma agonist effect.

  • High potassium
